Artificial Intelligence in Education: Opportunities, Tools, and Ethics
Course Description
This course explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on education and equips participants with the knowledge and skills to use AI tools effectively and ethically in the classroom. Teachers, school leaders, and education professionals will engage in practical sessions on AI-powered educational tools, critically analyze their implications, and learn how to integrate them into lesson planning, assessment, and school policy. Special emphasis will be placed on responsible AI use, digital literacy, and developing institutional ethical guidelines.

Learning Outcomes

- Promote digital literacy and responsible AI use among students.
- Draft a practical ethical AI policy for their own schools or institutions.
- Build future-ready strategies for leveraging AI to foster inclusive, engaging, and personalized learning environments.

Follow-up
Trainees will be given soft and hard copies of all lesson materials, which they can present to their colleagues at their own organizations to generate interest in the strategies learnt during the training course. In addition, a mailing list of participants will be created in order to exchange ideas and experiences. Self-evaluation materials will be provided. At the end of the course the participants will fill in a questionnaire in order to get detailed feedback for the effectiveness of the training event.
