“Skills for Transition” – free training in green transformation & social skills for young people
The Skills for Transition program offers free training in green transformation and social skills tailored to young people currently outside of education, employment, or training to help them adapt to the opportunities offered by new labor markets.
The program is aimed at motivated young people from Italy , Germany , Bulgaria, the Czech Republic , Slovakia , and Romania who meet the admission criteria. In Germany, the experimental project will be carried out primarily in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Berlin. The venue for the workshops and design phases is the Karnitz Project Farm, and the KMGNE is the German lead. The program, designed by Glocal Factory (IT), will begin at various intervals starting in March 2025. Participation is completely free of charge thanks to full funding from the UniCredit Group.

CAREER-ORIENTED CAMP / TRAINING SESSION
- Face-to-face training (20 hours): Participants take an initial test to assess their initial skills.
- Online training (10 hours): Interactive content to deepen knowledge. In-depth studies and exercises with project development.
- Sustainable Business Site Visits (10 hours): Visits to sustainable businesses. Opportunities to talk to entrepreneurs and observe sustainable practices in action
- Workshops/focus groups with experts and advice (30 hours): Practical workshops led by sustainability experts and entrepreneurs. Emphasis on practical examples of sustainability and eco-innovation, with personalized support.
- Final certification: Final assessment to assess progress and acquired skills. Issuance of a final certification recognized at European level (Microcredentials).
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
- Upon completion of the training, each participant will receive a bonus* of €200.00 from Glocal Factory as compensation for their expenses.
- But that's not all! The top three students from each country will have the opportunity to participate in an international competition in Milan.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
- Age between 18 and 35 years ;
- Currently not in education, employment or training (NEET);
- Are residents of Italy (Verona-Ferrara), Germany (Berlin & Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Bulgaria (Plovdiv), Czech Republic (Prague), Slovakia (Bratislava) or Romania (Bucharest-Ilfov or Sud-Muntenia).
